Suawada - Secateur Sharpening Stone
Japanese Secateurs are robust and will hold a good edge for a long time, but not forever, regular maintenance of your cutting edge will ensure the perform at their absolute best for years to come.
Use these specially designed sharpening bars to keep a good edge on your tools.
- Place the stone in water for about five minutes
- Keep the central nut of the secateurs in place, no need to loosen it.
- Sharpen the angled side of the blade only. Sharpen along the curve of the blade in one direction.(Use bottom flat surface of stone)
- Check for burrs on the back side of the blade. Remove burrs with the stone flat across the back of the blade until it’s removed and smooth to touch. (Use side flat surface of stone)

All knives ship via an age verified service in accordance with The Offensive Weapons Act 2019, which will mean the postie will need you to be in to receive the delivery & to check your ID if you look under 25.
The law also requires us to carry out a soft age check of the purchaser after checkout, this is done by an automated system that usually doesn't require your input, although we will need to contact you for proof of age if you fail, which can sometimes happen if you use a work address.
